That kind of handling is why Apple isn't in the Mocap studios. I would have to buy a whole new app before I pay half price for an upgrade. It may be 2018 before I drop another 4500 for Maya. That left me with a 2,000 upgrade since I paid cash with no subscription. Then immediatedly (less than 4 months) a true 64 bit OSX (10.6?) came out and the Maya 2011 64bit. I purchased 2010 which was late for 64 bit because of Apple being being with upgrades. I was catch in the Apple 64 bit Maya OSX debachable that still has a bitter taste. It may be hearsay or speculation on my part but I don't think there would be any high-end prosumer software on the Mac with some incentive or payola from Apple. ![]() I'd have to point the figure at Apple more than Autodesk. ![]()
